I’m a former evangelical pastor who found liberation through anarchism and Zen practice. After serving diverse communities for over a decade, I left evangelicalism in 2022 and Christianity in 2024 to pursue a more authentic path grounded in solidarity rather than hierarchy.

Hey Rebel creates accessible resources exploring socialist and anarchist ideas as real alternatives to capitalism, authoritarian structures, and fundamentalist religion. Through long-form articles (and soon, a podcast), we’re examining how mutual aid, collective power, and contemplative practice can help us resist conditioning and build the liberated world we need. Because challenging hierarchies and exploitation isn’t just theory—it’s something we practice together, every day.
